The HALDE (High Commission against Discrimination and for Equality) is an associate partner of the Equal Jus project. The Authority's mission is to fight discrimination, including on grounds of sexual orientation. It receives and investigates claims from individuals, produces information kits for local authorities, annual reports, guides and studies at a national level.

The HALDE plays its role in the project bringing its experience on the field of mediation in cases of discrimination, with special regard to discrimination based on sexual orientation. The HALDE’s know-how and experience will be useful for the elaboration of the content of the training sessions of the project, to produce the part of the legal manual devoted to ADR and mediation and to disseminate information about the project.
