Second European Conference on LGBT Families
The Second European Conference on LGBT Families want to share the situation of legal rights and inequality suffered by children of LGBT families in different countries across Europe. We work together with other organizations and governments to make progress on the rights of citizenship.We are expecting between 700 and 800 people from different European countries to attend the Conference. It is our intention to spread the achievements of social rights regarding LGBT people in our country.
European Parliament calls on Croatia to adopt national action plan for LGBT rights
Today the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the accession of Croatia to the European Union. Among other requirements, the text calls on the future Member State to combat homophobia and prevent homophobic violence. The Parliament’s call follows this year’s Pride march in Split, which was subject to violent attacks.
Asylum and LGBT people in Europe
The meeting "The international protection for sexual orientation and gender identity" will take place the 25th and the 26th November at Villa Zito in Palermo.

Italy Rejects LGBT Hate Crime Bill
Italy, 26 July 2011 - The lower house of the Italian parliament rejected a bill on Tuesday which would have provided for stricter sentences for persons convicted of crimes against LGBT people. A similar bill was also rejected in 2009.

35th State Department Country Reports on Human Rights Practices Released
Washington, United States, 8th Apr 2011 - In announcing the 35th State Department Country Report on Human Rights Practices, released Friday afternoon in Washington, D.C., Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton indicated that a "disturbing trend of 2010 was the repression of vulnerable minorities, including racial and ethnic and religious minorities along with lesbian gay, bisexual and transgender people".
